Care guide
1. Sunlight ☀️
Provide bright light with about 4–6 hours of gentle direct sun. Acclimate it gradually to stronger sunlight to prevent leaf burn, especially in Florida.
2. Watering 💧
Water thoroughly, then let the soil dry completely before watering again. Never leave the roots sitting in water. Overwatering is a common cause of root rot.
3. Soil and pot 🪴
Use a fast-draining cactus and succulent mix amended with pumice or perlite. Choose a pot with drainage holes.
4. Temperature 🌡️
Keep it warm, ideally around 60–85°F. Protect it from frost and prolonged heavy rain.
5. Fertilizer
Feed lightly with a diluted succulent fertilizer during active growth in spring and summer. Avoid overfertilizing.
6. Propagation
You can try growing new plants from healthy leaves or stem cuttings. Let cut surfaces dry and callus before planting in dry, well-draining mix.
